EPI-USE Labs/Virtual Forge alliance facilitates delivery of world class cybersecurity solutions

31/10/2018Wendy McWilliams

Global specialist software solutions and managed services provider EPI-USE Labs has signed a global partnership with German-founded Virtual Forge, one of the leading designers of cybersecurity solutions for SAP.

This collaboration brings together powerful complementary solutions to help their mutual clients establish compliance, secure sensitive data and deliver secure and high-performance SAP landscapes.

Tim Barker, EPI-USE Labs’ managing director Asia Pacific, said customers no longer look for just products, but want business outcomes that accelerate the performance of their SAP and SAP SuccessFactors systems.

“We can now offer a range of security solutions based on our clients’ risk profile and provide assessment, remediation and monitoring services.

“The global partnership with Virtual Forge will allow our clients to benefit from our extensive combined expertise, all under a single scope of work and one contract,” said Mr Barker.

EPI-USE clients in Australia and New Zealand include Auckland Council, Glencore (the world’s largest globally diversified natural resource companies), the New South Wales Police Force and AGL.

Andreas Fritz, director of strategic management at Virtual Forge, says they are delighted with this agreement, which will bring benefits to clients of both companies.

“Our clients can access our combined solutions through a single relationship and have holistic discussions on how best to secure, optimise and operate their SAP systems effectively.”

With over 35 years of experience, EPI-USE Labs is a proud member of groupelephant.com that has business operations in 47 countries, offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, employs 2,000 people and is largely employee-owned.

Jan van Rensburg, senior vice president for information security & risk at EPI-USE Labs in the US said information risk and compliance is becoming top of mind for companies across the world.

“By partnering with Virtual Forge, we can offer our clients a comprehensive suite of risk management solutions to match their needs and level of risk management maturity.”
